TERMS OF TRADE…
CFR – Cost & Freight – denotes that you have purchased the goods on the basis that the shipper will pay for all charges from their door to the nominated destination port.
CIF – Cost, Insurance, and Freight – Same as CFR but the shipper will also arrange and pay for marine insurance.
DDP – same as DDU except all Duties and taxes are paid for by the shipper – you

- BOL – Bill of lading – Negotiable legal document
- CBM – Cubic Meters or M3
- ETD – Estimated Time of Departure
- ETA – Estimated Time of Arrival
- FCL – Full container load
- FTL – Full truckload
- GST – Goods and Services Tax
- HAWB – House Air Waybill – Nonnegotiable
- L/C – Letter of Credit
- LCL – Less than a container load
- LTL – Less than a truckload
- MAF – Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries
